Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park (Patna Zoo)

By booking a ticket or entering the premises of Patna Zoo, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before your visit.

1. No Refunds or Modifications

• All bookings are non-refundable and non-modifiable.
• No requests for cancellation, rescheduling, or chargebacks will be accepted.
• Booking a ticket constitutes service delivery. Non-attendance does not qualify for a refund.
• Contact us before initiating any disputes.

2. Right to Admission

• Entry allowed only to the person named on the ticket. Tickets are non-transferable.
• A valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry.
• Management reserves the right to deny entry or cancel tickets without explanation or refund.

3. Time Slot Compliance

• Tickets (if time-based) are valid only for the assigned time slot.
• Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time.
• Late arrivals may not be admitted, and rescheduling is not allowed.

4. Scope of Entry Ticket

• Access includes General Zoo Grounds, Children’s Park, Aquarium, Botanical Garden, and open exhibits.
• Activities like boating, toy train, etc. may have separate charges.
• Entry to restricted/staff-only areas is prohibited.

5. Property Protection

• Do not damage or deface zoo property (plants, enclosures, etc.).
• Violators will face penalties and legal action.

6. Ticket Misuse

• Tickets must not be resold or tampered with.
• Misuse will lead to legal consequences.

7. Wildlife Protection Regulations

• Zoo falls under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
• Strictly prohibited: weapons, inflammables, teasing or feeding animals.
• Violations are punishable under law.

8. Public Conduct

• Prohibited: littering, shouting, smoking, spitting, or harassment.
• Violators will be removed immediately without refund.

9. Plastic-Free Zone

• Plastic use is restricted inside zoo premises.
• Plastic bottles allowed with a refundable ₹50 security deposit.

10. Adventure or Additional Activities

• Activities may have age, health, or height restrictions.
• No refunds if deemed ineligible after booking.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols is required.

11. Staff Interaction & Respect

• Respect all staff and officials.
• Misconduct will lead to eviction and possible legal action.

12. Weather-Related Closures

• No refunds will be provided due to weather-related disruptions.
• Visitors are advised to check weather conditions before booking.

13. Photography & Filming

• Personal photography is allowed.
• Professional photography and drone usage require special permission.
• Management may use visitor images for promotional purposes.

14. Minors & Guardianship

• Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Parents/guardians are fully responsible for their children.
• Certain areas may have age or height restrictions (e.g., glass bridge).

15. Visitors with Special Needs

• Accessibility is available in specific zones.
• Please inform the staff in advance for special arrangements.

16. Modifications to Terms

• Management may update these terms at any time without notice.
• Visitors are encouraged to review the current terms before each visit.

17. Liability Disclaimer

• Visitors enter at their own risk.
• The zoo is not responsible for injuries, losses, or accidents due to personal negligence.

18. Emergency Situations

• Follow staff instructions during any emergency.
• Emergency exits and first-aid facilities are clearly marked.
