Program Overview
- Registration is invited for Zoo Guide and Zoo Volunteer at Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, Patna.
- The program is conducted as per the guidelines of the Central Zoo Authority (CZA).
- This engagement is voluntary and does not constitute regular or contractual employment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Zoo Guide: Guide visitors, explain animal exhibits, biodiversity and promote conservation awareness.
- Zoo Volunteer: Assist in educational programs, awareness campaigns, visitor support and events.
Mode of Application
- Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format.
- Forms are available on the official Patna Zoo website.
- Offline submission is permitted at Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, Patna.
- Applicants must follow all zoo rules and administrative instructions.
Registration Process
- Fill the official application form for Zoo Volunteer or Zoo Guide.
- Submit accurate personal, educational, and contact details
- Agree to follow all rules and guidelines of Patna Zoo and Central Zoo Authority (CZA).
- Selection will be at the discretion of zoo administration.

Eligibility & Qualification
- Minimum 12th Pass (Biology / Environmental Studies preferred)
- Interest in wildlife conservation and public service
- Physically and mentally fit
- Hindi / English communication skills

New Tiger Cubs Born at Patna Zoo
Our Royal Bengal Tiger pair has welcomed two beautiful cubs, marking a significant milestone in our breeding program. The cubs, born on December 10th, are healthy and active. Our veterinary team is closely monitoring their progress, and visitors will be able to see them once they are old enough to venture outside their den.
